Sara Davis of the volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 3.

Davis helped lead Flagler to a 3-0 weekend in the Flagler Saints Invitational. The senior middle hitter leads the PBC in kills per set (4.33), hitting percentage (.493), aces per set (0.78) and is second in aces (7). She hit a blistering .607 with a match-high 17 kills on 28 errorless swings in the de facto championship match of the tournament against previously undefeated Florida Tech. Davis served up three aces in the first two matches of the tournament.
