Jeffercy Jean of the men's basketball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of January.

"Jeffercy has made huge strides in his sophomore year after playing limited minutes as a freshman," said assistant men's basketball coach Kyle Cregan. "He has a great feel for the game and a willingness to sacrifice personal gain for the betterment of the team. To that end, he leads our team in assists as a wing while also assuming our most difficult defensive assignments. Jeffercy has the potential to be a special player in this league."
