Tiffany Hodge of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 15.

This is the second time this season Hodge has been selected for the weekly award (Nov. 27).

Hodge tied for a team-high 19.7 points per game this past week in three games. She also averaged a team-high 11.0 rebounds per game and made 73.5% (25-34) of her shots from the field and even made 71.4% (5-7) from 3-point range. Hodge did this averaging 40 minutes per game. Last Saturday, she scored 19 points and corralled a career-high 18 rebounds vs. Montevallo. Hodge scored a season-high 22 points to start the week at Georgia Southwestern. She tallied 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field at Lander.

Hodge leads the Peach Belt Conference in three categories: defensive rebounds (108), total rebounds (150) and rebounds per game (10.7). She is sixth in the PBC in field goal percentage at 54.2 and is eighth in minutes played per game (33.9).
