Ben Bobbitt of the men's basketball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of December.

"Ben has showed great determination and toughness in the face of adversity this season," said Kyle Cregan, assistant men's basketball coach. "He worked incredibly hard to recover from surgery and is ahead of schedule. He has been key in multiple wins since his return, including one of the best performances of his career in a win over then No. 25 Columbus State. During that time he also represented our team well as a member of SAAC and managed to earn a 3.3 GPA in the first semester. We couldn’t be more proud of Ben. This honor is well deserved."
