Bri Roberts of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 1.

Roberts scored a season-high 23 points, with the help of five 3-pointers, in a loss last Friday at Eckerd College. She added six rebounds and four assists to her line. Roberts made 8 of her 15 shots from the field and played all 40 minutes of the game. She scored 12 of Flagler's 22 first quarter points.

Roberts is second on the team in scoring average with 10.7 points per game. She is third in the Peach Belt Conference in free throw percentage (81.3), 12th in 3-point field goal percentage (33.3) and 13th in free throws made with 26.
