Kelly Burge of the women's tennis team was selected as the February Athlete of the Month.

Burge was the athlete of the week, Feb. 28.

Burge won both of her singles matches and both of her doubles matches with teammate Mary Jo Nanti during her TraveLynx Athlete of the Week campaign, which included wins in both in Flagler's upset of No. 3 Saint Leo. 

For the season, Burge is 13-3 in singles play and is 4-2 at No. 5 singles. She has won five consecutive matches. In double play with Nanti, they are a perfect 7-0, all at No. 1 doubles.

 Flagler women’s tennis has won seven consecutive matches. The Saints are ranked No. 16 in the country.
