Pedro Silva of the men's soccer team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 18.

Silva scored two goals, including the only goal of the match on Saturday when Flagler defeated No. 21 Lander University on "Senior Night." He added an equalizer goal in the 26th minute on Tuesday at Barry University. Silva scored two of Flagler's three goals this past week.

Silva is second in the Peach Belt Conference, and he leads the team, in goals scored with seven. Two of those goals, including last Saturday's were game winners.
