Abby Austin of the women's soccer team was selected as the September Athlete of the Month.

Austin was the athlete of the week on Sept. 7.

For the month, Austin started all six matches and scored a pair of goals to help lead Flagler to a 4-1-1 overall record and a 2-1-0 Peach Belt Conference mark. Of the 10 shots she has taken, seven have been on goal. 

She scored the equalizer against 17th-ranked Saint Leo University in the 81st minute back on Sept. 3 in the season opener. The match ended in a 2-all draw.
