Jose Martinez of the men's tennis team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, for the month of March.

Martinez was the athlete of the week on March 8 and 29.

He started out the month ranked No. 13 in the country in singles play and jumped to No. 7 by the end of March. Martinez went 5-0 in singles which included wins over the No. 16 and No. 23 ranked players in the country.
