Andrew Brodbeck of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending February 15.
Brodbeck batted .778 this week as Flagler swept the weekend series against No. 3-ranked Lander. He also posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and an .897 on-base percentage. Brodbeck led the team with seven hits, six runs scored, two doubles and nine total bases. His five walks and two stolen bases also topped the club. In 15 total plate appearances in the three-game series, Brodbeck was only retired twice. He had two singles, a double, two walks, three runs scored and two stolen bases in an 11-3 win on Saturday. 
Brodbeck leads the Peach Belt Conference in batting average (.571), on-base percentage (.684), stolen bases (6), and is second in runs scored (17) and fourth in walks (8).
