Keshaun Hamilton of the men's basketball team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by the Hampton Inn & Suites Vilano Beach, for the month of December.

Hamilton was selected as the student-athlete of the week on Dec. 21.

The 6-foot-9 junior center started all three games that week and led the team in scoring with an average of 20.3 points per game, and rebounding with a 10.3 per game average. He made 51.3% (20-39) of his shots from the field and sank three 3-pointers. Hamilton also made 85.7% (18-21) of his free throw attempts. He added six assists and five blocked shots.

For the month, Hamilton averaged 14.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as he saw time in all five games. He also tallied seven blocks.

Hamilton is averaging 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in six games played for the Saints this season.
