Flagler College Athletics

Gabbi Paiz of the women's soccer team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending September 28.

Paiz scored the golden goal (104') Saturday night in Flagler's 2-1 double-overtime win over Peach Belt Conference rival Young Harris College. She knocked in the shot from Brooke DeLauder's corner kick which was headed over to Paiz from Cassie Fernandez. The goal was the first of the season for the freshman forward.

Paiz took four shots in the match, all of which were on goal. The win snapped a three-match losing streak for the Saints.
