Sara Davis of the volleyball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending September 14.
The freshman middle hitter from Akron, Ohio had a monster weekend at the Pioneer Classic. She became the first player at Flagler to record a triple-double when she recorded 16 kills, 11 total blocks and 10 digs in a tough five-set loss to King, Tenn. (Sept. 12). For the weekend, Davis hit .375, recorded 53 kills, eight service aces, 17 digs and 22 total blocks as the Saints went 2-2.
She ranks eighth in the Peach Belt Conference in kills (94), third in hitting percentage (.318), fifth in blocks per set (0.89), and 10th in service aces per set (0.43).
