For the second time this season, Shelbi Lindsey of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 5.

She was selected as the player of the week on Dec. 15. She is the first student-athlete of the week for the year 2014.

Lindsey scored a game-high 20 points on 6 of 12 shooting from the field, three 3-pointers and 5 of 8 shooting from the line in Flagler's 74-63 upset win over No. 7 Clayton State. She scored 10 points in each half.

She leads the Peach Belt Conference in 3-pointers made (27) and is 10th in points scored (158).
