Flagler College Athletics

Khyla Brangman of the women's soccer team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of September.

Brangman was named student-athlete of the week for the period ending Sept. 9.

That week, Brangman scored a pair of goals and assisted on another in a 4-2 win over Limestone College (Sept. 9). Her goal in the 75th minute proved to be the game-winner and she converted a penalty kick in the 86th minute for insurance. Brangman also tallied an assist on the match's first goal.

For the season, Brangman has scored two goals and assited on one and has helped lead Flagler to a 4-4-0 overall record.
