Marissa Blake of the softball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of February.

Blake was selected as the student-athlete of the week on Feb. 3.

Blake batted .425 in the month of February. She had 17 hits, seven doubles, eight runs batted in and 11 runs scored. Her .600 slugging percentage led the team as well as her .531 on-base percentage.

For the season, Blake is batting .338 with 22 hits, nine doubles, 12 RBI and 16 runs scored.
