Ante Gospic of the men's basketball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of January.

Gospic was selected as the student-athlete of the week twice in January (6th and 20th).

Gospic led the Saints in January by averaging 18.1 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. He shot 49.2% from the field and made 81% of his free throw attempts. He tallied 16 assists, eight blocked shots and five steals as Flagler posted a 5-4 record in the month.

For the season, Gospic is averaging a team-high 18.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He has made 52.5% of his shots from the field and has made 73.2% of his free throws.
