Corey Mundy of the men's cross country team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of October.

He was selected the student-athlete of the week on Oct. 7 and 21.

Mundy opened the month of October with a 27th place finish at the Florida State Invitational. He broke his own personal best time in an 8K with a time of 26:44.5, which at the time was the eighth-best time in the history of the program at that distance.

Two weeks later he broke that mark and finished with a time of 25:48.58 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships. He earned all-conference honors after finishing in seventh place.
