Chad July of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 11.

July recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 17 rebounds last Saturday at USC Aiken. He scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the first half alone.

For the season, July is averaging 14.0 points and a team-best 12.1 rebounds per game. He leads the team with a 51.1 field goal percentage. July leads the Peach Belt Conference in rebounding.
