Flagler College Athletics

Loren Cate of the women's soccer team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 30.

Cate scored four goals and added an assist as Flagler won a pair of Peach Belt Conference contests last week. She scored a pair of unassisted goals in Flagler's 2-0 win at Georgia Southwestern and scored two more goals, within three minutes of each other, in a 5-0 victory over Georgia College on "Senior Night" at Saints Field. Of Flagler's seven goals scored last week, Cate had a hand in five of them.

Cate leads the team with 13 goals and has tallied four assists for 30 points. She is second in the PBC in goals and points.
