Taylor Strekel of the women's cross country team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 18.

Strekel won the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational with a time of 23:55.60 over the 6K course. She won the race by nearly seven seconds over runner-up Lyndsay Nichols of Augusta State University (24:02.40). With Strekel's finish, the Saints finished second as a team in the 10-team field.
