Kyle Foti of the baseball team has been selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of February.
Foti was selected as the Student-Athlete of Week for the period ending Feb. 27.
For the month of February, Foti batted .289 with 11 hits, five doubles, a triple, two home runs, four runs batted in and 10 runs scored. His .632 slugging percentage leads the team. He is tied for the team lead in runs scored.
Last week alone, he batted .667 (6-9) with three doubles, a triple, a home run, drove in three runs and scored four more in a pair of games at Augusta State.
