Flagler College Athletics

D.J. Ferguson of the men's basketball team has been selected as the Student-Athlete o f the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of January. He earned student-athlete of the week honors twice in January (9th and 23rd).

Ferguson averaged 10.3 points and 7.6 assists per game in January. He broke his own single-game record for assists at Flagler with 17 in a 76-70 overtime win vs. Augusta State. He poured in 19 points in a loss to Francis Marion.

For the season, Ferguson is averaging 10.1 points and 9.1 assists per game. He has eight double-doubles (points and assists).
