Tierra Ford of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 12.

Ford scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting and also gathered five steals in Flagler's loss at Florida Southern College on Saturday.

For the season, Ford is averaging a team-best 11.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She also leads the team in field goal percentage (.450) and steals (3.83/game). Ford ranks No. 2 in the Peach Belt Conference in steals per game.
