D.J. Ferguson earns the Flagler College Athlete of the Week award for the period ending Jan. 3.

Ferguson helped lead Flagler to a 2-0 week by averaging 10.0 points and 12.5 assists per game. He also made 6-of-12 from the floor in the two wins.

In an 86-74 win over Geneva College, Ferguson dished out 13 assists and added 12 points and in a 97-82 win over Armstrong Atlantic he tallied 12 assists and contributed eight points.

For the season, Ferguson is averaging 8.6 points and a nation's-best 11.1 assists per game.
