Richard Keller's journey is marked by a dynamic career and a commitment to education. Graduating from Saint Anselm College in 1969, he embarked on a successful path with the Seagrams Company, initially joining their Marketing Training Program at A.Asch Marketing Research. His exceptional leadership led to promotions, first as the Texas State Manager, transforming it from the company's worst market to a top-ten position. Richard continued his success as the Florida State Manager, elevating the state to the number one market in the country. Further accolades followed as he became the Empire Regional Manager, overseeing Metro and Upstate NY, and New Jersey. His trajectory led him to the National Office at 375 Park Avenue, where he assumed various leadership roles. Post-Seagrams, Richard transitioned to Diageo, the world's largest distiller, contributing his expertise to a global scale. In 1987, after a heart attack, Richard shifted gears, dedicating 15 years to teaching English, Public Speaking, and Economics at Pinkerton Academy, impacting the lives of 3,500 students. Following his teaching career, he retired to St. Augustine, Florida, where he enjoyed the fruits of his labor alongside his wife, Kathleen Keller. Together, they proudly raised three sons, embodying a legacy of achievement, resilience, and a dedication to both corporate success and the nurturing of young minds.
