Marco Coleman, a former standout player at Georgia Tech and a distinguished NFL veteran, returned to his alma mater in 2023 as the Defensive Line Coach for the Yellow Jackets. A two-time first-team All-American during his collegiate career, Coleman's achievements include contributing to Georgia Tech's national championship win in 1990. In the NFL, he played for 14 seasons, earning honors such as Sports Illustrated's NFL Rookie of the Year and a Pro Bowl selection. After retiring from professional football, Coleman pursued a successful career in finance before transitioning back to football coaching. With coaching stints at various levels, including Michigan State University and the NFL, Coleman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Georgia Tech, where he mentors and inspires the next generation of football talent. He resides with his wife, Katrina, and their three children: Kabrione, Kennedy, and Kenneth. Beyond his on-field achievements, Marco Coleman has always been deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his career. He has been actively involved in various charitable endeavors, leveraging his platform to uplift and empower those in need.
