Mr. Albinson is a native of Dover, New Jersey, and a resident of Pinellas County, Florida since 1983. He attended Flagler College from 1975 to 1979, graduating with a BA in English and Secondary Education. During his time at Flagler, Mr. Jeff was an integral part of the baseball team, showcasing his dedication to both academics and athletics. Jeff's engagement with Flagler College extended beyond his student years. In the early and mid-90s, he played a key role on the American Airlines-sponsored exhibition basketball team, the American Eagles. Notably, Flagler College was included in their pre-season schedule, highlighting Jeff's commitment to fostering connections between the college and the broader sports community.
Professionally, Mr. Albinson is a practicing lawyer with a focus on representing professionals in malpractice and licensure matters, particularly those in the legal, insurance, and real estate sectors. His dedication to the legal profession is underscored by his achievements, including being awarded the prestigious "Barney" by the Barney Masterson Inn of Court in June 2023. This accolade recognizes his exemplary professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal excellence. Beyond his legal career, Jeff is actively involved in coaching high school baseball at Seminole HS in Pinellas. His leadership extends nationally as he was elected to serve as the National Co-Chair for the Professional Liability Section of the Council on Litigation Management, the largest industry association for the defense of insured claims. Mr. Albinson values the college's consistent production of competitive teams with a rich history of sportsmanship. His legacy is marked by a dedication to integrity, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
