At Flagler
Lang-Montgomery begins her 10th season at the helm of the Flagler women's basketball program.

She has coached the Saints to a pair of 10-win seasons (2012-14) in the Peach Belt Conference after the program had won a total of eight games in the league in its first three seasons. Last year (2017-18) Flagler won a program record 16 games and finished tied for third place.

The Saints put three players on the all-conference team in 2017-18. Tabitha Odabe and Bri Roberts earned second-team honors while Tiffany Hodge was selected to the third-team. Odabe was picked as the league's defensive player of the year after her school-record 105 blocked shots. Alex Alford also broke a record during the season - the program's career assist record.

In 2015-16, she coached the Saints to their third appearance in the PBC tournament with a 13-14 overall record and a 9-10 mark in the conference.

In the 2014-15 season, she helped coach senior center Treva Mason to all-conference honors as well as taking down school records in rebounding and field goal percentage. Mason also scored her 1,000th point.

In 2013-14, she coached Flagler's first Division II All-American, Williesha "Shorty" Spencer. Spencer broke the school's game and season record for points and was a two-time All-Peach Belt selection.

The 2012-13 season proved to be her most successful yet, leading Flagler to 15 wins, the team’s most since 2007-08, and 11 home wins, including a nine-game unbeaten streak at Flagler Gymnasium spanning from Dec. 1 to Feb. 27. The 11 wins at home were the most since the 1999-2000 season. The Saints finished third in the Peach Belt Conference East Division with a 15-13 (10-9 PBC) record, their most conference wins since joining the PBC in 2009-10.

Lang-Montgomery was named as the 18th head coach of the women’s basketball program on July 2, 2009.

She recorded her first win at Flagler in her first game, vs. Ave Maria on Nov. 15, 2009.

Two tenets of Lang-Montgomery’s philosophy are giving back to the community and academic excellence. Last year, the team performed over 200 hours of community service and also posted a team grade point average of 3.14. Jen Knurek earned a spot on the Peach Belt’s All-Academic Team. Her teams have won the PBC Team Sportsmanship Award for four consecutive seasons (2010-13).

Under Lang-Montgomery, Williesha "Shorty" Spencer became Flagler's first all-Southeast Region and all-Peach Belt Conference player after the 2012-13 season.
