Coach Ashley Bland, a native of Ohio, is in her second year as Director of Student Services and Head Women's Basketball Coach. She comes to Flagler after serving as Assistant Athletic Director and Basketball Coach at a high school in Dayton, Ohio.
After graduating from Bishop Rosecrans High School in Zanesville, Ohio, Ashley received a full scholarship to further her academic and athletic careers at Kent State University. At Kent, Bland was a four-year starter on a team that won the Mid-American Conference twice, while also competing in the NCAA tournament in those two years. She received her bachelor's degree in physical education and went on to obtain her master's in sports administration.
