Velmir Vejzovic begins his fourth season as the goalkeeper coach for the men's soccer team. He was the goalkeeper coach from 2013-15.
Vejzovic had a stint as the director of goalkeeping at the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club. He was the assistant coach/goalkeeper coach at Mandarin High School for head coach Jason Cooley from 2013-16. Mandarin was ranked No. 18 in the state and seventh in its division. Mandarin claimed league, district and conference titles.
In 2012, Vejzovic had a stint at his alma mater, Wolfson High School for head coach Todd Tinsley. He helped coach the team to a top hal of the conference finish and the team reached the finals of the Gateway Tournament.
The native of Vlasenica, Bosnia and Hercegovina graduated from the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie in 2012.
