Jay Jennison returns for his second year at the helm of the Flagler College men's golf program.
Last year he guided the program in its first full NCAA Division II slate and also had the team play in the prestigious MacDonald Cup at Yale University. 
Jennison is well known within the local community as the founder and tournament chairman of the St. Augustine Amateur and Executive Director of the First Tee of St Johns County.
He lettered in golf all four years at the University of Virginia from 1966-70. In 1968, Jennison earned Academic All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors. A lifelong amateur, he played in the 1980 US Amateur at the CC of North Carolina in Pinehurst, and the following year played in the British Amateur. Jennison also played in the inaugural USGA Mid-Amateur at the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis in 1981. 
He received his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia in 1970 and a law degree in from Stetson University College of Law in 1975. He currently lives in St. Augustine with his wife, Martha, and has three grown children, Clarinda, Catherine and John.
