2009 (JUNIOR): Made 23 appearances with 13 starts, a complete game and a shutout...Posted a 3-7 record with a 5.25 ERA...Her 43 strikeouts were second on the staff...Tossed a two-hit shutout and struck out seven vs. Brewton-Parker (Feb. 6)...Tallied a season-high eight strikeouts vs. Eckerd (Feb. 22). 

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Florida Community College in Jacksonville...Played softball for two years under coaches Jami Lind and Jay and Lauren Redfern...Pitched a no-hitter against IRCC.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Pedro Menendez High School...A four-year letterwinner in softball and volleyball...Also played basketball for two years...Winner of the Coach's Award in softball and basketball...Captain of the 2006 team...Earned All-County honors in 2006...Member of the America Sign Language Club as well as Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

PERSONAL:  Daughter of Chuck and Melissa Owen...Has one brother and two sisters...A history major...Younger sister, Charlsea, is a freshman on the Flagler College women's basketball team...Enjoys going to the beach and playing ping-pong...Favorite TV shows are "Grey's Anatomy" and "Friends"...Lists favorite food as shepherd's pie ...
