HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Flagler College Saints were named the winners of the Peach Belt Conference David R. Brunk Commissioner's Cup on Tuesday night at the league's annual dinner. The award was renamed for the retiring PBC commissioner just prior to the presentation.

Flagler won the award for the third time in the past six years. The first came in the 2018-19 season and the second in 2020-21. Flagler is the smallest school, in terms of enrollment, in the PBC with just under 2,500 students.

"We are certainly proud of the competitive success that our teams had this year and particularly humbled to be the first recipient of the Commissioner's Cup named in honor of out outstanding outgoing commissioner, Dave Brunk," said Director of Athletics Jud Damon.

The Brunk Cup is presented annually to the best overall athletic department based on regular-season standings and select championships results from cross country, golf and track & field. Associate members are not reflected in regular season or championship point totals. Flagler earned 98.5 points of a possible 126, a .782 rating.

The Saints were competitive across the board in 2024-25, winning regular-season championships in women's cross country and men's tennis and were co-champions in women's tennis. They also received the maximum points for men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field. Flagler was second in men's cross country, volleyball, men's soccer (tie) and softball (tie).

The PBC Commissioner's Cup is determined by calculating the number of points possible to each school, given the number of sports they participate in, divided by the number of points earned during the year.  Points are determined by placement in the final regular-season standings in each PBC championship sport except cross country, golf and track & field, which points are decided based off placement in their respective PBC Championship.

Last year's Commissioner's Cup winner, the University of North Georgia, finished in second place this year with a .771 rating. Columbus State University finished in third place (.629) and Augusta University (.625) finished in fourth place.

The final standings for the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference Commissioner's Cup are below.
