AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College's Jax Bouknight and Josiah Shackelford earned All-Peach Belt Conference honors, according to a release this morning by conference officials. Shackelford was selected as the PBC's Freshman of the Year.

Vaughn McCall was the last Flagler player to earn freshman of the year honors (2015-16).

Bouknight, a senior guard, averaged 15.2 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.1 steals per game to earn second team all-conference honors. The Alpharetta, Georgia native is 12^th in the Peach Belt in scoring, first in assists per game and steals per game, and sixth in free throw percentage (81.9) and 3-pointers made per game (2.2). Bouknight is 35^th in the country in steals (58) and steals per game. He recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 assists at Rollins College.

Shackelford, a freshman guard/forward, averaged a team-high 15.8 points per game as he earned third team all-conference accolades. He grabbed 4.0 rebounds per game. He has recorded his first collegiate double-double in the regular season finale with 26 points and 10 rebounds at Georgia Southwestern State University. The Sanford, Florida native is 11^th in the PBC in scoring and fifth in three-pointers made per game (2.2).
