Flagler women’s golf moved up to No. 4 in latest national ranking

ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College women's golf team moved up one spot to No. 4 in the nation according to the latest computer rankings by SCOREBOARD, powered by clippd.

The Saints have an average weighted points score of 57.98. Flagler finished in third place at the World Golf Invitational, which concluded Tuesday. Up next for the Saints is the Lady Moc Classic on Monday and Tuesday at Lakeland, Florida.

Flagler is one of three Peach Belt Conference teams in the top 25. The University of North Georgia jumped to No. 7 while Lander University dropped to No. 23.

Six of the top 10 are comprised of South/Southeast Region teams. Anderson University and Wingate University occupy the top two spots. Lynn University is ranked No. 8 and Lee University is No. 10.

Three Saints are ranked in the top 100 individually. Stella Jelinek catapulted all the way to No. 7 with an average weighted points of 40.21. She won medalist honors at the World Golf Invitational. Henriette Stranda and Jordyn Hodgson followed each other at Nos. 11 and 12. Stranda has an AWS 37.75 and Hodgson is at 37.63.
