AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College shattered its record by putting 217 student-athletes on the 2023 Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll, presented by Barnes & Noble College, which was released today by conference officials. There were 1,573 student-athletes that earned the conference's honor roll accolade. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at the PBC member institutions, as well as it's associate members, who had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
The honor roll is divided into four groups: Presidential, Bronze, Silver and Gold Scholars. All student-athletes with a GPA from 3.0 to 3.24 are Presidential Scholars while Bronze Scholars are 3.25 to 3.49; Silver 3.50 to 3.74 and Gold Scholars are those with a 3.75 to 4.00.
Last year, Flagler had 172 representatives on the 2022 PBC Presidential Honor Roll. The PBC's 1,573 student-athletes gives the league more than 1,000 honorees for the 13th year in a row. Each student-athlete will receive a certificate from the conference office.
