AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College sophomore Stella Jelinek was selected as the Peach Belt Conference's Women's Golfer of the Week, according to a release by conference officials this morning.

This is the sixth time in her young career that she has won the league's weekly honor.

Jelinek won her second career tournament at the Golfweek D2 Invitational, finishing the 54-hole tournament at four-under par 209. The Leiman, Germany native broke the program's 54-hole scoring record by three strokes and her final round 66 broke another school record (lowest 18-hole score). Jelinek won the tournament by five strokes and helped the Saints win the team title with a record-breaking 857. She leads the PBC in strokes per round (71.8)

Jelinek and the Saints host the 20^th annual Flagler Fall Slam Oct. 23-24 at the Marsh Creek Country Club.
