AUGUSTA, Ga. — Flagler College's Jaizec Lottie has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week. It's his third weekly conference honor this year.
 
The senior led Flagler to wins over Clayton State University and Lander University, giving the first-place Saints six straight victories and moving them to 16-3 overall and 9-1 in conference play.
 
Lottie, an Aurora, Colorado native, averaged 24 points, nine rebounds and 5.5 assists over the two games. Against the Lakers, the guard registered his third double-double behind 31 points and 10 rebounds, while also dishing out eight assists. He followed that up with 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists versus Lander.
 
His 31-point performance against Clayton State marked his third 30-plus point game of the season, which is the most by any player in the PBC. Lottie leads the PBC and is ranked 13th in NCAA Division II with 21.8 points per game. He is also ranked 11th in the PBC in rebounding, fifth in free throw percentage and leads the league in assists.
 
The Saints will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to second-place Georgia College for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
