ST. AUGUSTINE – Kaitlyn Krafka recorded a match-high 20 kills to lead Lander University to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-23) sweep of Flagler College in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Friday night at Flagler Gymnasium.
Lander has won six-of-its-last-seven matches and improved to 14-3 overall and 2-1 in the Peach Belt. Flagler dropped to 6-9 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
Krafka finished with a .341 hitting percentage as she had five errors on 44 swings. Hannah McManus was active in the back row for the Bearcats as she finished with a match-high 25 digs. Madilyn Reed was a digs shy of a double-double with 44 assists and nine digs. Imari Ashley recorded five total blocks.
Raquel Kulak led the Saints with 13 kills and had a .440 hitting percentage. She only had two errors on 25 swings. Kulak also had three total blocks.
Tara Savisky just missed a double-double as she tallied 32 assists and collected nine digs.
Kayla Norelli corralled 15 digs and
Jordan Taylor had four blocks assists.
Flagler hosts the University of South Carolina Aiken tomorrow (Sept. 29) at 2 p.m. at Flagler Gym.
