JACKSONVILLE – Andy Diaz led four University of North Florida players in double figures with 14 points in an 84-67 win over Flagler College in a men's basketball exhibition game Tuesday night at UNF Arena.

Diaz scored nine of his 14 points in the first half alone and finished the game 6-of-12 from the field. Charles McRoy added 13 points and seven rebounds. Matt Sauey and Fred Landers came off the bench to provide a combined 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Matt Clark (St. Augustine, Fla., St. Augustine HS) scored a game-high 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting from 3-point range to lead the Saints. Chad July (Fort White, Fla., Bridgton (Maine) Academy) recorded a double-double with 13 points and a grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. Ryan Barnes (Oviedo, Fla., Newberry College) chipped in with 12 points.

Flagler hung tight with Division I UNF for much of the first half. The Ospreys went on a 12-2 run midway through the first half and took a 32-20 lead with 4:14 left to go on a Fred Landers layup. Jerron Granberry sunk a 3-pointer with 32 second in the half to give the Ospreys a 41-24 lead at the half.

UNF had its largest lead (69-43) with 6:25 left to go.

Flagler will travel to DeLand on Thursday (Nov. 3) and face Stetson University in another exhibition game.
