BOCA RATON, Fla. − Jean Alexandre scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with just two seconds left in regulation to lead No. 2 Lynn University rallied to stave off an upset bid by Flagler College 2-1 in a non-conference men's soccer match at the McCusker Soccer Complex. Lynn improved its record to 9-0-0 on the season while Flagler fell to 4-3-1.

For the game-winner, Alexandre happened to be in the right place at the right time as scored off of Sam Craven's header attempt which was blocked.

Alexandre got the Fighting Knights on the board with an equalizer in the 71st minute when he headed in Joe Buppert's pass.

Eoin Cassin (Dublin, Ireland/Colaiste Ide) scored his third goal of the season when he found the back of the net in the 41st minute off a Mack Hough (St. Augustine, Fla./Pedro Menendez HS) pass.

Adam Alcock registered two saves for Lynn while Chandler Gay (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo HS) recorded nine saves for Flagler.

Lynn out-shot Flagler 23-7 and held a slight 8-6 advantage in corner kicks.

Flagler returns home for its next match on Oct. 4 against Webber International University at 7 p.m. at Saints Field.
