ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Karega Tucker scored a game-high 16 points to help rally Barry University past Flagler College 64-59 in a non-conference men's basketball game Tuesday night at Flagler Gym. Barry snapped its three-game losing streak and improved to 4-4 while Flagler had its four-game winning streak snapped and fell to 5-7.

The Buccaneers went on a 21-5 run early in the second half which wiped out a 36-26 lead by the Saints. Willie Whitfield highlighted the run with a dunk off a missed shot by Chad Bishop to put Barry up 41-40 with 10:33 left. Barry never trailed again.

Bishop recorded a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds while Whitfield also finished with a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Erick Nsangou added eight points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Barry out-rebounded Flagler 44-28 and grabbed 21 offensive boards which led to 24 second chance points.

#Jon Matthews# (Daytona Beach, Fla./Atlantic HS) led Flagler with 14 points while #D.J. Ferguson# (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore HS) tallied 11 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. #John Pietkiewicz# (Winter Park, Fla./New Hampton Prep) chipped in with nine points and four assists.

Flagler will travel to Americus to take on Georgia Southwestern on Thursday (Dec. 18) at 7 p.m.
