ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − After escaping the rain during warm ups, the Flagler College men's soccer team escaped a tie with Saint Xavier University, winning 2-1 in overtime. The Saints are now 6-4-1 on the season, while the Cougars fall to a 5-8-0 mark.

Conor Killeen (Dublin, Ireland/Colaiste Ide) made Flagler's first goal of the night from the top right in the first half to match Saint Xavier's earlier shot. Dan Reid (Dublin, Ireland/University of Dublin) passed over midfield to Pol Berenguer (Barcelona, Spain/St. Augustine HS) who made the touch pass to Killeen. Neither team scored again until Eoin Cassin (Dublin, Ireland/Colaiste Ide) scored on a penalty after a Cougar foul five minutes into the overtime period.
