ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Michele Remlinger led four players in double-figure kills with 18 as Armstrong Atlantic State University topped Flagler College 3-1 (26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25) in a South Regional women's volleyball match Wednesday night at Flagler Gym. Armstrong Atlantic extended its winning streak to six matches and raised its record to 17-5. Flagler had its four-match winning streak snapped and fell to 15-9.

Remlinger hit a robust .621 as she did not record an attack error on 29 swings for the Pirates. Torrie Bevolo added 14 kills and 12 digs while Rindy Vidovich chipped in with 12 kills and four total blocks. Gwendolyn Clarke recorded 10 kills and three total blocks. Hannah Segebart tallied 58 assists and Nicole Yates led the defense with 13 digs.

The Pirates hit .253 for the match recording 63 kills and 22 errors on 162 swings.

Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian School) tied her season-high in kills with 16 and also added six digs and four aces. Katie Beale (Stuart, Fla./Martin County HS) recorded 13 kills, nine digs and hit .333. Justine Burkhardt (St. Augustine, Fla./Winthrop U.) chipped in with 10 kills and nine digs for the Saints. Sarah Spraggins (Jacksonville, Fla./Fletcher HS) led the defense with 20 digs while Rebecca Royal (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Fleming Island HS) tallied 24 assists.

The match was tied 43 times in the four sets played and there were 23 lead changes.

Flagler heads to Lynn University in Boca Raton for a weekend tournament. The Saints open play against the University of Montevallo on Friday (Oct. 17) at 1 p.m. That night, Flagler will head to Miami Shores to take on Barry University at 7 p.m.
