ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − It was only a matter of time before freshman guard #D.J. Ferguson# (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore HS) was going to break the assists record in a game at Flagler. Tonight was the night as his dished out 16 assists and added 19 points while fellow classmate
John Pietkiewicz (Winter Park, Fla./New Hampton (N.H.) Prep) dropped in a season-high 31 points to help lead Flagler to a 98-79 win over Allen University of Columbia, S.C. in a non-conference men's basketball game Tuesday night at Flagler Gym. Ben De La Cruz (Orlando, Fla./University HS) underneath the hoop and split two defenders for the layup and was fouled on the play.
De La Cruz added 18 points, seven rebounds and a pair of blocks after getting into early foul trouble.
