ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Neil Patrickson’s (Newcastle upon Tyne, England/West Denton HS) header in the 60th minute help propel Flagler College past Northwood University of West Palm Beach 1-0 in a non-conference men’s soccer match Friday night at Saints Field.

After a scoreless first 45, Patrickson was able to head in a pass from Andres Jaramillo (Orlando, Fla./Cypress Creek HS) for his first goal of the season.

The game was marred by some rough play and even brought on the ejection of two Flagler players and a Northwood player.

Jordan Holtz (Clermont, Fla./South Lake HS) recorded his fourth shutout of the season and has yet to allow a goal on the Saints Field pitch in four matches. He recorded five saves on the evening and lowered his goals against average to 0.63.

Lars Lundgren recorded three saves for Northwood (3-2-1).

Flagler College hosts Webber International University Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Saints Field. Northwood returns to Florida Sun Conference play on Sept. 27 with a match at home against St. Thomas University at 3 p.m.
