LAKE WALES, Fla. − Danny Burke’s (Leeds, England/Thomas Danby College) goal in the 33rd minute was all the Flagler College would need in a 2-0 win over Warner Southern College Tuesday night in a match up of old Florida Sun Conference rivals.

Burke scored on one of two Andres Jaramillo (Orlando, Fla./Cypress Creek HS) assists on the evening. Jaramillo also assisted on Joey Riley’s (Gainesville, Fla./Buchholz HS) first goal of the season for Flagler (5-2-0).

Jordan Holtz (Clermont, Fla./South Lake HS) earned his third shutout of the season for the Saints, tallying two saves.

Alvaro Puyo led Warner Southern (2-5-0) with three shots and Luis Rincon recorded nine saves.

Flagler College hosts another former conference rival in Northwood University on Friday at 7 p.m.
