BABSON PARK, Fla. − Bjorn Asbjornsson scored a goal and tallied three assists in leading 13th-ranked (NAIA) Webber International University to a 7-3 win over Flagler College in a non-conference men’s soccer match Wednesday afternoon at Warrior Field.

Andy Glynne got Webber International (6-1-0) on the board first with a goal in the fourth minute when he received Asbjornsson’s pass and chipped the ball in from 18 yards out.

Asbjornsson scored his lone goal of the match 14 minutes later off a through ball from Jon Hermannsson to put the Warriors up 2-0. That score would hold up for the remainder of the half.

Flagler (7-4-0) got on the board in the 49th minute on an own goal as a Webber player accidentally headed the ball into the goal.

Webber took a commanding 4-1 lead with a pair of goals in the span of four minutes. David Wahlberg converted an Asbjornsson pass in the 53rd minute and then Craig Curtis scored the eventual game winner when he headed in Wahlberg’s corner kick in the 57th minute.

Tony Restino recorded three saves for Webber International.

The Warriors held a 23-10 advantage in shots and a 10-5 edge in corner kicks.

Danny Burke (Leeds, England/Thomas Danby College) scored his third goal of the season when he scored on Rob Goossens’ (West Palm Beach, Fla./The King’s Academy) assist. Just six and a half minutes later, Boris Kalff (Cologne, Germany/Sports University of Cologne) scored an unassisted goal. Jordan Holtz (Clermont, Fla./South Lake HS) recorded eight saves for the Saints.

Flagler hosts the Savannah College of Art and Design Saturday at 7 p.m. at Saints Field.
