ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.— Daniel Whelan’s unassisted goal in the 60th minute was all the offense seventh-ranked Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University would need in a 2-0 win over Flagler College in a Florida Sun Conference men’s soccer match Saturday night at Saints Field. ERAU has won nine-consecutive matches this season.

Joe Yoffe scored an insurance goal for Embry-Riddle (13-1, 9-1 Florida Sun) off a pass from Danny Collins in the 78th minute.

Ian Levine turned away the only two shots he saw on goal for the shutout for the Eagles.

Mike Allard (North Lauderdale, Fla./Coconut Creek HS) collected six saves for Flagler (4-11, 3-7).

ERAU out-shot Flagler 16-5 and held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Flagler will visit Northwood University on Wednesday with the time to be determined. Embry-Riddle will visit Webber International University, also on Wednesday, at 4 p.m.
